TeacherActive are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Liverpool area. The school is seeking a full-time school administrator to assist in the general running of the school's office and administrative functions.
The duties of the School Administrator will include:
·Signing staff and visitors in and out and often being the first point of contact for visitors face-to-face or over the phone.
·Providing a full range of secretarial skills including typing, copying, recording, filing and classification of materials using a computer to cover work.
·Using the SIMMS and FMS Systems.
·Organising and maintaining reports.
·Filing and fulfilling general school needs.
·Ensuring the smooth running of the office i.e; organising day-to-day activities, contributing to the planning and development of the support service, maintaining the required confidentiality of materials.
The candidate must:
·Have SIMMS training and preferably FMS training
·Be able to use Microsoft programmes.
·Have experience in Schools essential.
·Be happy to work on a rota system
