A truly innovative data centre operator with data centres (both colo and edge) across Europe is looking for a Finance Manager (Accounting and Reporting). This permanent role has been created to support the next stage of the company's growth and offers a mix of home and office (Victoria) working.

The Role

As a Finance Manager, you'll be a critical member of the A&R team - the team has a broad reach across the finance function which makes this role a great platform to develop a diverse set of core finance skills. This is very much a hands-on role and you'll play a key part in building the finance function of a newly formed pan-European venture (24 legal entities across 14 countries) including process design, system implementation and business integration. Accounting and Reporting is the key element of the role but you'll also have involvement in other elements of the finance department such as Treasury, Tax and M&A.

To succeed in the role of Finance Manager, it's essential that you have a strong A&R background and are fully qualified. In all likelihood, you'll have spent some time in both the Big 4 and industry although somebody with no Big 4 background will be considered. The role won't suit somebody looking for their first role in industry though. Sector wise, anything tech or construction would be ideal but there is flexibility. Experience of any of the following would certainly hold you in good stead - Oracle Cloud, technical accounting (M&A transactions, leases, revenue recognition) and experience in managing the consolidations process across multiple countries and multiple currencies.
