Shift Engineer - London

Position: Shift Engineer (Electrical bias)

Location: City of London

Salary: £52,000 

Shift Engineer Responsibilities: 

Perform reactive and planned maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, UPS, and control panels
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and safely
Support minor installations and upgrades; coordinate with contractors as needed
Conduct routine inspections and compliance tests
Skills/Experience required:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Maintenance, or Engineering
Solid experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or critical environments
Comfortable working shifts (days/nights) and handling urgent or high-impact issues
Strong knowledge of permit systems, health & safety regulations, and safe work practices
Capable of working independently or as part of a shift team under pressure
