An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a rapidly expanding utilities and engineering consultancy based in Cheltenham. With a strong presence across the UK and a track record of delivering end-to-end engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects, the company offers an engaging and rewarding work environment. This role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in project accounting and a hands-on approach. The position offers a salary of up to £55,000 plus a superb benefits package.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for multiple ongoing projects, including timesheets, purchase orders, and invoicing.
Ensure timely client billing aligned with project milestones and contractual terms.
Manage supplier payments and build strong working relationships with subcontractors.
Use Xero for reconciliations, reporting, and daily accounting operations.
Monitor and report on project costs using Replicon, supporting financial efficiency.
What Experience is Required

Proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
Proficiency with financial software and financial forecasting.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
