Salary: £12.60/hour

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Team Member.

Location: NE12 8B
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour + holiday pay, or £14.10 per hour without holiday pay
Shift: 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Ongoing temp

Basic DBSGeneral Overview for UKBU / purpose of the job:

You will be working as part of a busy team (approximately 30), in a Procure to Pay environment. The team are responsible for approximately 400,000 supplier payments. The role involves the processing of invoices, supplier account reconciliation, helping resolve any known disputes, and ensuring goods/services are receipted on a timely basis. Team Members should have the following attributes:

The ability to work as part of a wider team, with an agile approach to all activitiesKey Accountabilities:

Shared Services have agreed Service Level Agreements with key stakeholders. Performance
Indicators, assigned to all Team Members, contribute to the Procure to Pay Team meeting these
objectives. You will ensure that we play our part in suppliers being paid to agreed terms. You will also:
Be customer focused
Proactive
Use own initiative
Demonstrate high accuracy invoice processing
Quality check own workload
Engage with team and wider business
Manage internal and external relationshipsDimensions of the Role:

Point of contact for procure to pay queries
Invoice processing
Supplier statement reconciliations
Internal/external supplier queries
Schedule and process payments
Reconciliations and period end close activities
