Warehouse Engineer

Salary: £25,000 to £29,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Option to reduce to 37.5 hours)
Location: Altrincham (relocating to Middleton within 4-8 weeks)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Engineer to lead our dispatch operations. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of IT assets, while upholding our high standards for quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support the dispatch team in day-to-day operations.

* Actively participate in testing, picking, packing, and shipping of IT assets.

* Prioritise orders and manage workflows in coordination with the Dispatch and Sales teams.

* Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, product issues, or shipment errors promptly.

* Monitor stock levels in the outbound area and liaise with the Purchasing team to ensure timely restocking.

* Uphold rigorous quality control standards during testing and order preparation.

* Keep testing processes current and escalate any concerns to directors.

* Provide cover across warehouse roles during staff absence due to holidays or sickness to maintain service standards.

* Proven experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or ITAD environment.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to lead a team while also being hands-on.

* High level of integrity and commitment to quality and compliance.
