🪚 Wood Machinist Required - Wednesbury
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist on behalf of our well-established client based in Wednesbury.
This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
💰 Pay Rate
£12.21 per hour
🕒 Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Operating a range of woodworking saws including circular saws, band saws, hand saws, and table saws
Cutting and shaping wooden components according to instructions and measurements
Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished pieces
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures
👷 Candidate Requirements
Previous experience operating woodworking saws is essential
Good hand-eye coordination
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
Understanding of health and safety procedures when operating machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
