Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a highly respected manufacturing business to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner.
This is a key role within the commercial finance team, acting as the primary finance partner to the wholesale sales function. You will provide insightful analysis, robust financial guidance, and support key business decisions that drive profitable growth with major wholesale customers. This position will also play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a major systems transition to SAP, ensuring commercial data integrity and strong financial controls during the change.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with wholesale sales teams to deliver clear, actionable financial insights that influence strategy and decision-making.

Lead the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities, ensuring spend is effectively planned, processed, and controlled.

Own the wholesale sales forecast process in collaboration with sales, production, and demand planning teams.

Manage the commercial month-end process, including reconciliation of trade spend accruals and cost centre accounting.

Provide best-in-class analysis and scenario planning to support business growth strategies.

Support the transition to SAP by ensuring sales and trade investment data is set up correctly, and reporting outputs are robust and understood.

Deliver ad-hoc projects and respond to information requests from senior leadership and international stakeholders.
About You:We’re looking for a commercially minded qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with:

Previous experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, ideally within the FMCG or wholesale sector.

Exceptional analytical skills with advanced Excel capability, able to handle and interpret large datasets accurately.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (desirable but not essential).
