Hours: 37 per week (Tuesday-Friday, 6:30am-4:15pm)
Pay Rate: £14.13 per hour

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking Waste Operatives (Drivers) to join the Waste Services team. This is a frontline role serving the community by undertaking duties connected with the removal and disposal of household and commercial waste and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

Predominantly driving large refuse collection vehicles (HGV Class C licence required)
Operating bin lifting equipment and safely manoeuvring refuse containers
Supervising a small team of loaders
Providing advice to customers on waste and recycling
Updating in-cab technology and maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

HGV Class 2 licence with Driver CPC training
Digital tachograph holder
Experience in waste collection or similar environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Dress Code: Safety shoes, high viz jacket, ballistic trousers
