White Label is representing an engineering and manufacturing business based in Bolton who require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

If you have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment and you're looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you!

The role is mechanical bias with most of the maintenance being on the mechanical side. Therefore, my client requires someone with strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician:

* Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repair, and condition monitoring of plant and equipment.

* Handle both electrical and mechanical maintenance issues across the factory.

* Work with operations staff on engineering-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

* Identify and implement improvements to machinery and equipment to improve reliability and reduce costs.

* Support daily production meetings by providing updates on machine status, reliability, and performance.

* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

* Contribute to Six Sigma activities and continuous improvement projects.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and risk assessment procedures.

Experience required of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician:

* 2-3 years' experience in maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, motors or similar.

* Experience with preventative maintenance tools and techniques.

* Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
