The role
Working from Belfast, you will deliver end-to-end acoustic consultancy - from site noise/vibration surveys to modelling and report production - while contributing to early-stage design advice and supporting junior staff on project delivery.

Key responsibilities

Environmental noise & vibration surveys and assessments

Acoustic modelling in CadnaA / SoundPLAN

Authoring technical reports & ES chapters

Acoustic input to planning and design teams

Client / LA / stakeholder liaison

Mentoring junior staff where appropriate

About you

Degree in Acoustics / Physics or related

2-4 yrs in environmental or building acoustics

Working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG

Competent in CadnaA / SoundPLAN

Clear written communication; full UK licence

Day-to-day

Site visits & measurement campaigns

Model build, calibration and interpretation

Drafting and issuing reports and recommendations

Project meetings with clients / design teams

Keeping current with standards and best practice
