M&E Estimator needed

Estimator needed in E14, London, easily commutable from Canary Wharf, Poplar, Limehouse, Stratford, and surrounding areas, for a permanent role with a leading M&E Fit Out company.

Duties
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions specifically for M&E fit out projects.
• Reviewing and interpreting electrical design drawings and specifications for fit out works.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to obtain accurate pricing.
• Assisting project teams with value engineering and cost control throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensuring estimates are compliant with client requirements, budgets, and industry standards.
• Maintaining up-to-date cost databases and preparing reports as required.

The successful Estimator will have:
• Proven experience in M&E estimating within fit out or similar commercial fit out environments.
• Strong knowledge of materials, labour rates, and installation methods typical of fit out projects.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively across teams and suppliers.
• Based within a commutable distance of E14 and reliable with a positive, proactive attitude.
