We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fantastic engineering team who are looking for a contractor for a minimum of 6 months of work.

The role would suit someone who has strong experience with sheet metal and is proficient with Inventor. The role is a 37 hours across a 4 day week, Monday - Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate 3D models using Inventor, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials in line with engineering standards.
Ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations, including CDM, through risk assessments and mitigation.
Collaborate with analysis engineers and project teams to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
Participate in design reviews and ensure manufacturability, operability, and installation are fully considered.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to research and development projects

In return you'll receive a rate up to £38/hr umbrella for a 6 month contract.
