District Manager - Retail Operations

Salary: £49,000 basic + up to 40% annual bonus
Package: Company car or £6,000 car allowance, private healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays

We're hiring a high-performing District Manager to join our client's growing business. This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced, commercially driven role where you'll lead multiple stores, support a team of managers, and drive operational and sales excellence.

The Role
As District Manager, you'll take full ownership of performance across a group of sites, guiding store teams to exceed targets and deliver outstanding customer service. You'll also play a key role in coaching, succession planning, and delivering on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and their teams

Monitor and improve district-wide sales, KPIs, and customer metrics

Contribute to hiring and succession planning across the region

Analyse store performance, customer trends, and operational data

Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and financial controls

Plan staffing, rotas, and training needs to meet business objectives

What We're Looking For

2-5 years' experience in a multi-site retail management role

Strong people leader with a commercial mindset

Confident with sales performance analysis and improvement

Proficient in MS Office and operational reporting tools

Ambitious, adaptable, and ready to grow with the business
