Heating Engineer Service and Maintenance

Role:

My client has a busy and expanding Service and maintenance department working for a range of private and commercial clients, the work ranges from large private residences to schools, colleges, universities, pharmaceutical buildings, and many other commercial settings.

As a member of the Service and maintenance team on site you will be responsible for conducting the planned and reactive maintenancetothesite’smechanical services.

Youwillcoveranumberofsites withinthecentral andsoutherncounties in an approximate 80-mile radius of our Oxford office sowillbegivenacompany vantotraveltothe site.

AsCommercial/DomesticGasEngineeryouwill beresponsibleforthe following:

• ConductPlannedMaintenancetoBoilers,heating,plumbing& Ventilation systems.
• Attendrepairs,breakdownsandfaultfinding Participate in the 24/7 call out Rota on rotation.
• Installationofpipework&plumbing,replacingelectro/mechanical components.
• Workingatheights.
• Completionofreports andassist with quotationsto clients.

Youwillrequireagoodworkingattitudeandqualityworkmanship,personality,andwillingnesstogotheextramilearekey attributes.

Youwillbeworkingaspartofateamaswellasindependentlysowillneedtobeforward-thinking withan initiative-takingapproach and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

• IndenturedApprentice
• City&Guilds/NVQ-
• Boiler/BurnerTraining
• GasSafeQualification-Domestic&CommercialworksPipework
• OFTECQualification.
• Unventedsystems.
• 18thEditionIEE-Wiring&Installationadvantage
• Health&SafetyTraining
• BMS&ControlsExperienceadvantage.

Although the above are preferred additional training can be provided and for the right candidate we would consider full training.

An Enhanced DBS will be required on commencement of employment.

Experience

Atleast5years’ experienceinthebuildingserviceindustryworking in a similar role and able to demonstratea proven work historyrecord in respect of MechanicalandHeatingmaintenance,repairs,andsmallworks.

• £45-50K basic depending on experience plus Overtime
