Our client is a highly sucessful food manufacturer based in Nottingham. They are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a fast-paced role, ideal for an ambitious engineer looking for a role with progression.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for designing preventative maintenance routines to reduce downtime.

The role

Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues across a range of equipment
Support installation of new machinery
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and improvements
Work across systems like conveyors, chillers, mixers, and packaging equipment
Mentor junior team members
You

Multiskilled engineering experience, ideally from a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
Skilled in fault-finding, repair, and maintaining production machinery
Understanding of PLC-controlled systems, sensors, VFDs, and wiring
Some hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, or modification of machinery
