Fleet Coordinator

Por client, a well-established national service provider is seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management of its fleet of vehicles. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations, cost efficiency, and compliance across all fleet activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Fuel Card Management: Administer and reconcile fuel card transactions, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
Vehicle Procurement: Coordinate the purchase of new fleet vehicles in line with operational needs and budget guidelines.
Vehicle Disposal: Manage the timely sale or disposal of ageing or high-mileage vehicles to maximise residual value.
Fleet Records: Maintain up-to-date records for vehicle usage, servicing, insurance, and compliance.
HMRC Reporting: Handle P11D and P46 submissions.
Supplier Liaison: Engage with vehicle suppliers, leasing firms, and fuel card providers to ensure optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare regular performance, cost, and usage reports for senior management.
Company Car Expenses: Administer expenses for company car users.
Telematics & Equipment: Oversee installation and removal of toll tags, dash cams, and trackers as needed.
What We're Looking For:

Experience in fleet administration or a motor trade background is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with confidence in managing data and financial reconciliations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or fleet management systems.
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to work as part of a close-knit admin team.

On-target total earnings circa £35,000, based on a basic salary of £30,000 plus a monthly bonus scheme.
