Are you passionate about breaking barriers to learning and creating brighter futures for young people? Prospero Teaching are working with a specialist SEMH secondary provision in Blackley that is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outreach Teacher to support students aged 1116 who are disengaged from mainstream education.

About the School
They provide tailored education and support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. The outreach programme meets students where they are, whether that's at home, in the community, or in alternative settings, and helps them re-engage, build trust, and make progress both academically and emotionally.

Your Role
As an Outreach Teacher, you'll:

Deliver bespoke learning programmes to KS3 and KS4 pupils outside the traditional classroom

Use creative and flexible teaching methods to suit a variety of contexts

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, schools, and healthcare professionals

Champion trauma-informed and relational practice in all aspects of teaching

You'll Bring
QTS and experience working with secondary-age pupils

Expertise in SEMH, alternative provision, or behaviour support

Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience

A solution-focused approach and commitment to inclusive education

Ability to travel independently around North Manchester
