We are looking for a Cylindrical Grinder to join our team.

Time served Manual Cylindrical Grinder and Universal Grinder.
Apprentice trained would be advantageous.

Cylindrical Grinder -

* Experience of setting and operating Manual Jones & Shipman Uni/Surface-grinders.

Cylindrical Grinder -

* Be experienced in the tool selection, setting, and proving of operations following or instigating SOP instructions.

* Able to read and interpret from process or complex engineering drawings.

* Meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality.

* Have worked with a variety of materials.

* Good problem-solving ability.

* A high degree of understanding of fine tolerances (0.0002”/0.004mm), finishes(4micro/.1mm), compounded angles(15secs/.25deg).

* Manufacturing/Motorsport/Aerospace background.j

* Be able to communicate well and be part of a team.

* Good understanding of associated inspection techniques / methods required to ensure component conformity.

* You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this job.
