School Chef – Permanent Position

Location: Brettenham, SuffolkSalary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you passionate about creating nutritious and delicious meals for young minds? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic School Chef to join our friendly team in Brettenham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for students and staff
• Plan menus in line with dietary requirements and school guidelines
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Manage kitchen stock and ordering
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support a positive dining experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar role (school or catering environment preferred)
• A passion for food and child nutrition
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
• A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
