We're currently recruiting on behalf of a client who are specialists in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty mining vehicles and plant machinery. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they're now looking to add experienced MIG Welders to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential for a permanent contract, working with a well-established company known for producing some of the toughest machinery in the industry.

🔧 The Role:

MIG welding heavy gauge steel components used in mining equipment and plant vehicles.

Working from detailed fabrication drawings and schematics.

Carrying out structural welds on thick plate and bespoke fabrications.

Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Collaborating with a skilled fabrication team in a modern workshop environment.

✅ The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience MIG welding in a heavy engineering or structural steel environment.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Confident working with thick plate (up to [insert thickness if known]).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.

Flexible, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
