Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Secondary Schools across Sutton
Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

Are you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? We are seeking dedicated HLTAs to join a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Sutton.

As an HLTA, you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, leading small group interventions, and providing targeted academic and pastoral support to students of all abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons

Leading small group or one-to-one sessions to boost learning progress

Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher

Helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

Supporting students with additional needs to ensure they thrive

Requirements:

HLTA qualification or relevant experience working at HLTA level

Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for supporting young people's learning and wellbeing
