Academics is working with a network of secondary schools across Staffordshire & Cheshire East, including Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Crewe, who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable part-time Cover Supervisors to step into the classroom and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with management experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a flexible role.

• Lead lessons in teacher's absence (KS3-KS4)
• Deliver work that has already been prepared for you
• Keep pupils engaged and behaviour on track
• Complete a simple handover at the end of the lesson
• No planning or marking

• 2+ months' experience working with young people
• • Sports Coaching or Youth Work
  • Drama / Art / Music Workshops
  • Summer Camps / Holiday Clubs
  • Scouts / Guides / Duke of Edinburgh
  • Outdoor Activity Instruction
• Strong communication and management skills
• Confidence to manage classroom behaviour!
• Ability to build positive relationships and set clear boundaries
• A flexible, reliable and proactive attitude

• Up to £500 per week (depending on experience and school requirements)
