EYFS Classroom Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Southwark, South East London Start Date: Easter 2026 Pay: £95 - £115 per day

Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark to recruit a dedicated EYFS Classroom Learning Support Assistant for an Easter 2026 start.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is known for its nurturing ethos and strong commitment to supporting pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. As an EYFS LSA, you will work within the Early Years setting, supporting a range of pupils with varying SEND needs, helping them to access learning through play-based activities, structured support, and targeted interventions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a patient, proactive, and compassionate individual who is passionate about early childhood development and supporting children with additional needs in a collaborative primary school environment.

• Proven experience supporting children in an EYFS or primary setting - essential

• Experience working with a variety of SEND needs (e.g. ASD, speech and language needs, global developmental delay, SEMH)

• A good understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework

• A calm, caring, and resilient approach

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs within the EYFS classroom

• Assisting the class teacher and SENCO in implementing tailored support strategies and interventions

• Promoting children's social, emotional, and communication development

• Delivering small group and targeted support sessions

• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress

• Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive early years learning environment

• A friendly and supportive school community

• Experienced leadership and SENCO team committed to staff development

• Excellent CPD and ongoing training opportunities
