Document Controller

Location: Loughton, Essex
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent (potential to be self-employed)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Hours: 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Potential scope for 1 day from homeWe are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our client working on a 2-year project based in Essex. This is an opportunity to work on the project from the start and to see out the project from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to work on a project as a sole document controller and take control of maintaining the smooth operation and success of their projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

Maintain the document control register to ensure all documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently to support project continuity.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent oversight and coordination.
Upload risk assessments to the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Prepare Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for project handovers, ensuring all relevant information is accurately compiled and available.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector.
Proficient in using various EDMS platforms such as Procore, Asite, Aconex, SharePoint, BIW, and 4Project.
Strong ability to work independently and support project teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.Benefits:
