We have a fantastic opportunity for Assistant Ecologists who are looking for a new opportunity in Stafforshire. We are working with a small and specialist consultancy who are going through a period of growth and have a great variety of projects and work on offer, from Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments, through to ecological surveys for gardens, housing developments and national infrastructure. You'll be joining a truly expert team and given the encouragement and support you need to develop in your career.

Conducting habitat and protected species surveys
Report writing
Assisting with tender and fee estimates
Project ManagementTo be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need:

Proven experience as an Assistant Ecologist, Seasonal experience is also of interest.
Working towards, or already holding a protected species licence.
Be an excellent communicator with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
Knowledge of relevant aspects of UK and EU environmental Legislation and national and local planning policies and processes.
Associate / Full CIEEM Membership or able to demonstrate ability to obtain membership.
Hold a degree in a related subject.
