Graduate Behaviour Mentor
Join a vibrant secondary academy in South Manchester, seeking to appoint a Graduate Behaviour Mentor on a full time basis from September.
Applications are encouraged from applicants who have experience in supporting:
- Young people with behavioural difficulties
- Young people with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Young people with variant learning difficulties e.g. Dyslexia or Dyspraxia
- Young people with Special Educational Needs
The successful candidate will provide behaviour support to individual students under the direction of the class teacher and/or SENCO. They will be responsible for delivering educational programmes and activities, some of which may be outside of the classroom in the school SEN/inclusion unit. This role will also involve supporting students with Special Educational Needs, specifically those with social emotional and mental health needs.
This popular secondary academy is located in South Manchester and has been recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be 'Good' with a strong and determined leadership team. Due to recent investments, the school now has excellent state of the art facilities including modern well resourced classrooms.
For those on public transport, the academy is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the academy is located a 20 minute drive from the city centre.
