With a strong focus on customer retention and service excellence, they are now looking to expand their commercial team with a dedicated Account Manager to drive growth through existing client relationships.
Role Overview This is a non-cold calling role, ideal for a commercially minded professional who excels in upselling and account development. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of loyal clients, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings, and increasing revenue through strategic relationship management.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and grow a portfolio of existing logistics clients.
- Identify and execute upselling opportunities based on client needs and service gaps.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting and insights.
- Act as the main point of contact for client queries and escalations.
Candidate Profile - Proven experience in account management, ideally within logistics, transport, or supply chain.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of upselling or growing existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, proactive, and client-focused.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and reporting tools.
