About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected classic car restoration bodyshop based in St Albans, known for their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and passion for heritage vehicles.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer to join a specialist team working on high-end classic cars, including full resprays, panel blending, and concours-level finishes.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out full resprays and refinishing work to an exceptional standard

*

Prepare panels and surfaces using appropriate materials and techniques

*

Mix and apply paint using solvent and water-based systems

*

Perform colour matching, blending, and polishing to a show-quality finish

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

*

Work closely with restoration technicians and bodyshop staff to meet project deadlines

*

Ensure work is carried out to customer and manufacturer specifications

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an automotive Paint Sprayer (classic or prestige vehicles preferred)

*

Strong understanding of paint application, colour matching, and prep techniques

*

High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

*

Passion for classic and vintage vehicles is highly desirable
