Day-to-day of the role: - Provide one-to-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of learning materials and activities under the guidance of the teacher.
- Monitor and support the progress of students both academically and socially.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that fosters a sense of security and encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support individual student needs.
- Adapt communication style to suit the needs of individual students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar, preferably within an inclusive education setting.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student support.
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
