Platform Resourcing are partnered with a company in Swansea to appoint an IT Technical Support Administrator to join their team. This is a newly created role within their UK head office, where you will play a pivotal role to deliver great service to the customers and assist with first line enquries in a timely manner.

With year-on-year growth, and a reputation built strongly on the training and qualifications the company offers, this is an exciting role for someone to communicate with customers, vendors and stakeholders through a ticketing system to provide technical support and guidance, escalating when necessary. You will help improve service levels by problem solving, conducting root cause analysis and find the best solution whils promoting a positive working environment.

Duties of the IT Technical Support Administrator position

  • Respond to incoming tickets and requests in a timely manner
  • Offer support to customers via email and phone
  • Evaluate workflows, processes and services to improve customer experience
  • Conduct first line system/ interface troubleshooting remotely
  • Identify and propose solutions to customers IT issues
  • Escalate cases where necessary to the relevant department

Skills required to be successful as an IT Technical Support Administrator

  • Experience in customer support or first line support
  • Great time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis to find solutions
  • PC literate and experienced with CRM software
  • Experience of using ServiceNow is beneficial but not essential
