Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Iconic Stadium Contract

We're proud to be working on behalf of a global leader in facilities management, supporting operations at one of London's most iconic stadiums. We're now seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their site-based team and keep this world-class venue running smoothly—matchday and beyond.

About the Role

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, this role is essential to delivering high-quality engineering services across the stadium infrastructure. You'll carry out a combination of planned preventive maintenance (PPMs), reactive fault-finding, and routine works across a wide range of systems and plant. While your primary focus will be on electrical systems, the role also requires a hands-on, multiskilled approach—including support with basic plumbing, fabric works, and event preparation tasks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Perform electrical PPMs and ensure statutory compliance.

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults and general building services issues.

* Support minor mechanical and plumbing tasks when required.

* Collaborate with the FM team during matchdays, concerts, and events.

* Keep records up to date using CAFM systems and complete job sheets accurately.

* Ensure H&S and site security procedures are followed at all times.

* Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment.

What We're Looking For

* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.

* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualified.

* Proven experience in commercial maintenance, ideally in a high-footfall or public venue setting.

* Comfortable with general plumbing, building fabric maintenance, and basic mechanical support.

* Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.

* Flexible approach—some weekend or evening work may be required depending on stadium events.

What's on Offer

* Join a close-knit engineering team on a prestigious London contract.

* Opportunities for overtime, upskilling, and progression with a global FM leader.

* Be part of the behind-the-scenes team that keeps major events running like clockwork
