Job Title: General Machine Operator

Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable General Machine Operator to support our production team. This role involves operating pre-set machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring consistent quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery that has been pre-set by skilled technicians or setters
Load and unload materials and components into machines
Monitor machines to ensure smooth and continuous production
Identify and report faults, stoppages, or quality issues
Carry out basic visual quality checks on finished products
Assist with packing, labelling, and moving finished goods
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or shop floor environment preferred
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence desirable but not essential
Ability to follow instructions and work to standard procedures
Good attention to detail and quality awareness
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Willingness to work shifts and overtime where required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift and move materials 
Good hand-eye coordination
