This is an exciting opportunity to join a beautiful country house hotel as a Duty Manager.

About the Role:
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and a consistently high standard of service. You will act as the senior manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager, overseeing all departments and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities of the Duty Manager:
Support the daily running of the hotel across front office, F&B, and housekeeping

* Act as the main point of contact for guest queries, feedback, and emergencies

* Lead, motivate, and support the team to maintain high service standards

* Assist with staff training, rotas, and ensuring operational efficiency

* Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and professionally

* Ensure health & safety, licensing, and brand standards are upheld

What we are looking for from you as a candidate:

* Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory hospitality role (hotel background essential)

* A natural leader with great communication and problem-solving skills

* Calm under pressure and confident making decisions

* Strong understanding of hotel systems and front-of-house operations

* Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences

* Your own transport is essential due to the location of the hotel
