Salary: £50,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Basis: Full-time, Hybrid

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing renewable energy business, specialising in solar PV installations across the South of England. Our client is driving the commercial function for a PE-backed group of sustainability focussed businesses.
Business Development Manager - About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in driving new business, developing client relationships, and expanding our client's footprint in the domestic and commercial solar markets. You'll work with a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to sustainability and energy innovation.
Business Development Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for solar PV installations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, and consultants
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments (supported by engineering team)
- Prepare proposals and present tailored solutions
- Manage the sales pipeline and report on KPIs
- Work closely with project delivery and design teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Business Development Manager - You:
- Proven track record in business development or technical sales
- Experience in the renewables sector, ideally solar PV (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong understanding of the UK solar market and basic system specifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Based in or near West Sussex and willing to travel across the region
