PLEASE NOTE: This role is not immediately permanent; however there is an opportunity of gaining a permanent contract with the school through an introduction with Teaching Personnel. You will also need a Full UK Driving License and own transport, due to the rural location of the school.
This demanding but rewarding role in Bury St. Edmunds will require you to teach Special Needs (Autism, ADHD, Behaviour, Complex Needs, SEMH) pupils in KS2 and KS3. Class sizes are small, and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance the quality each child's education. The school itself is built on a large area, with masses of outdoor space for the children. Pupils are encouraged to explore the on-site adventure playgrounds and mass of outdoor space available to them.
