Assistant Design Manager - Facade Remediation - Central London

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + package

O'Neill and Brennan are currently working with a well-established contractor delivering a growing portfolio of façade remediation projects across London. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an Assistant Design Manager to join their Central London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with built environment experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and technically driven design team. You will gain exposure to complex remediation schemes and work closely with experienced Design Managers and consultants who will actively support your progression.

Role Overview

- Title: Assistant Design Manager

- Sector: Facade Remediation

- Location: Central London (office-based with project involvement)

- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + package

- Start: ASAP but can wait for notice periods

- Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

- Assisting in the coordination and management of design information across façade remediation projects

- Reviewing technical drawings and ensuring compliance with project requirements

- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

- Supporting with statutory approvals and ensuring adherence to building regulations

- Contributing to design reviews with a focus on buildability and technical detailing

Requirements

- Experience within the built environment (construction, architecture, engineering, or similar)

- Understanding of technical detailing and design coordination processes

- Experience working with consultants and reviewing drawings

- Knowledge of statutory compliance and building regulations

- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

- Ability to commute to Central London and attend project sites as required
