The Role

As Café Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, inspiring and developing your team, and delivering outstanding customer service. With an Assistant Manager in place, you'll have the flexibility to focus on leadership, team performance, and business growth—while also rolling up your sleeves and being hands-on when needed.

You'll be commercially minded, understand how to manage and work toward budgets, and be comfortable making strategic decisions that drive both sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all aspects of the café's daily operations

* Motivate and support a team, including an Assistant Manager and front-of-house staff

* Work to commercial targets and budgets with full P&L responsibility

* Maintain exceptional standards in service, cleanliness, and product quality

* Drive community engagement and uphold brand values

* Manage rota planning, stock, and supplier relationships

About You

✅ Previous experience in a hospitality management role (café, casual dining, or similar)

✅ Strong leadership and people development skills

✅ Commercially focused with a good understanding of budgeting and driving sales

✅ Happy to be hands-on while maintaining a strategic and structured approach

✅ Passionate about ethical business, sustainability, and customer experience
