I'm looking for multiple Principal Product Safety Engineers to join a leading Defence organisation in Frimley.

This is hybrid-working role of 4 days per month onsite in Frimley, Surrey.

You MUST be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) to be considered for this role.

What you'll be doing:

Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations are correctly considered and implemented
Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence
Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analyses methods, producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards
Line managing other safety practitionersEssential Skills & Experience:

Safety engineering processes, practices and tools
Clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principals
Experience and qualified engineers from other disciplines who display the correct behaviours and have an understanding of safety engineering, will actively be considered for this roleDesirable Skills & Experience:

Good communication skills and ability to interact and manage stakeholdersThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has done this kind of role previously within Aerospace & Defence.

The salary is £50,000 to £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
