We are recruiting for a Special Education Teacher in the Redwick area of South Gloucestershire / bordering Bristol. Ideally you will have a have experience of working with Children with Autism and related communication difficulties.

Duties

You will be key in delivering high-quality teaching to the young people within a safe environment helping to equip them for the next stage of their lives.

The School offers life skills as well as a range of GCSE / Functional Skills / BTEC accreditations and entry level pathways to further education.

Criteria

* Relevant knowledge of working with children with ASD desirable.

* Understanding Safeguarding and child protection guidelines.

* PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.

* Experience of Teaching Maths, English or Computing at KS3/KS4 desirable (Other Subjects will be considered)

* Good communication skills both written & verbal.

* Ability to engage students in positive enabling relationships.
