Job Title: Fabric Engineer

Location: London - Regent street

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering building maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and a background in facilities or property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance and handyperson duties

Blind repairs and minor carpentry works

Installation of hatches, carpet tiles, and stair nosings

Furniture assembly and minor fit-out tasks

Supporting other trades and learning new skills on-site

Sourcing and procuring materials as required

Completing digital work reports via a mobile app

Working independently across multiple sites in London

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' experience in the building maintenance or construction industry

Multi-skilled and confident in a variety of general repairs

Understanding of health and safety in the workplace

Full UK driving licence (preferred, not essential)

Experience using smartphones or handheld tech for job reporting

City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualifications (preferred)

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Flexible to work overtime or out-of-hours when required
