We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager for a Children's Home located in Bury, Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

The role offers an annual salary ranging between £45,000.00-£55,000.00, a £1000 joining bonus, and an additional bonus for achieving a GOOD or OUTSTANDING OFSTED rating. Not to mention, you'll be overseeing a beautifully furnished, modern residential home.

They are dedicated to making sure that the young people in their care are safe, well-cared for, and thriving. As a new provider with a successful registration with Ofsted, there's a real chance to create a thriving home. Our client is on the lookout for a Manager who has the confidence to oversee their home and ensure compliance with all the necessary laws, policies, and procedures.

As the Registered Manager for the Children's Home, your responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential children's home.
Ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of the children and young people residing in the home.
Leading and managing a team of staff to provide a high-quality service to children and young people.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring that the home meets or exceeds OFSTED's requirements.
Planning and managing the home's budget and resources effectively.
Participating in on-call duties on a rota basis.

Referral programme.The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager for the Children's Home role should have:

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare).
A minimum of 2 years' experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a rating of GOOD or above.
Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours/EBD.
A full UK driving licence.
Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including The Children's Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children's Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and other relevant legislation related to residential children's homes.
Good knowledge of “ClearCare” or “Mentor” (Software for Children's Home).If you have previously held roles such as a Residential Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Children's Services Manager, Residential Childcare Manager, or Children's Home Deputy Manager, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
