Contract Opportunity: EC&I Engineering Manager
Location: North West (Hybrid - 1 day remote)
Contract Length: 12 months (with high likelihood of extension)
Rate: £65-£70 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: 4-day week (Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days)

We are currently seeking an experienced EC&I Engineering Manager to lead a portfolio of high-integrity engineering projects within the nuclear sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering environment, managing and delivering complex, safety-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage EC&I engineering activities across multiple nuclear engineering projects.
Provide technical governance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive effective project delivery.
Support and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Act as the key technical interface with clients and regulatory bodies.

Ideal Candidate:

Extensive background in EC&I engineering within the nuclear sector - with experience at AWE or Sellafield particularly advantageous.
Proven experience in engineering leadership/management roles.
Strong understanding of nuclear safety, standards, and governance.
Live Security Clearance (SC) highly desirable.
Able to operate independently, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
