We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production First Line Manager to oversee the production operations of our family owned client in Royston (SG8). The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a food production environment. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, and leading a team to achieve operational goals. The Production First Line Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality. This is a hands on role leading a small operational team from the front.

Responsibilities

* Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.

* Manage and train production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

* Monitor production output and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

* Conduct regular inspections of equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and operational.

* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any production issues.

Experience

* Proven experience in a food production or manufacturing role, preferably in a managerial capacity.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

* Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks.

* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving targets.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
