CNC Miller / Setter / Operator - HAAS Machines - - Permanent - Baguley
CNC Miller required for a permanent role with a well-established rail industry engineering firm.
Our client, an ISO 9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015 accredited company, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled production team. The company prides itself on a culture of training, development, and quality workmanship, providing full support to help you settle into the role.
Key Responsibilities - CNC Miller
*
Set up and operate CNC milling machines (HAAS or Fanuc) in a busy machine shop handling low to large batch sizes
*
Achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
*
Perform First Off inspections and maintain traceability for quality assurance
*
Contribute to a clean, safe, and organised working environment
*
Work independently or as part of a collaborative team
Candidate Requirements
*
Experienced CNC machinist competent on milling machines
*
Able to work from component drawings, with awareness of critical dimensions and surface finish
*
Experienced machining a wide variety of materials
*
Knowledge of manual/offline programming beneficial but not essential
*
Comfortable working to fine tolerances
*
Flexible, positive, courteous, and team-oriented
*
Apprentice-trained or holding relevant engineering qualifications preferred
Hours & Pay
*
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
*
Overtime available at time and a third
*
