The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Wood Sander/Prepper to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, smoothing, and prepping them to perfection.

Operate sanding equipment and hand tools to smooth wood surfaces.
Inspect wood for defects, such as knots, cracks, and dents, and repair them as needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area. 
Successful Applicants

Previous experience in woodworking or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in operating sanding equipment and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes. 
Hours:              08:00-17:00
Shift:                Monday to Friday
Pay:                 £12.00 - £14.00ph (dependant on experience)
