HGV Service Engineer

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Vehicle maintenance company in their search for 2 HGV Service Engineers to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful HGV Service Engineer our client is offering:

i. Temporary to permanent position
ii. Competitive salary with regular overtime
iii. Overtime is paid at time and a half
iv. Out of hours call out on a Rota basis, opportunity to earn lots of money with this!
vi. Company Van and mobile phone
vii. Manufacturer product training
viii. Monday to Friday working 8am - 6pm

The Role - HGV Service Engineer:

i. Carrying out repairs on various trailers
ii. Inspection of vehicles
iv. Diagnosing faults to vehicles
v. Carrying out minor repairs to Vehicles, any other repairs will be done in the Workshop
vii. Lighting defects/bulbs and Air leak detection/rectification
viii. Completing jobs within given timescales

What our client is looking for in a HGV Service Engineer:

i. Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance desirable
ii. Experienced working on HGV Vehicles
iii. Possess a good "can do" attitude
iv. Ability to liaise with customers
