£19.27 per hour + 33% shift uplift for night shifts

Job Description:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime across a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance

Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Diagnosing issues on PLC, CNC, and electronic control systems

Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics

Supporting continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions

Working closely with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment availability

Supporting site projects and machinery upgrades

Identifying cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities

Promoting a strong safety-first culture across the facility

Skills & Experience:

NVQ Level 3, time-served apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification

Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing

Electrical and mechanical fault-finding expertise

PLC, CNC, and automation systems experience

Ability to read schematics and ladder logic

Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable:

18th Edition qualification

Hydraulic and mechanical systems expertise

ABB robotics experience

IOSH / NEBOSH or strong safety improvement exposure

Forklift, MEWP, or driving licence
