NEOS Recruitment are working with a leading power engineering contractor in the North West, specialising in High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution networks. Their work includes the installation of new networks, fault finding, and repair and maintenance of existing electrical infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced HV/LV Fitter who is DNO trained and holds a valid ENW (Electricity North West) authorisation to join their skilled delivery team.

The Role

As an HV/LV Fitter, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both high and low voltage equipment on live and dead networks.

Key responsibilities include:

Installation, assembly, and maintenance of HV/LV electrical equipment and plant
Assisting with fault location and repair on distribution networks
Working to DNO and ENW safety procedures
Interpreting technical drawings, plans, and work instructions
Completing relevant safety documentation, permits, and risk assessments
Supporting both planned project works and reactive maintenance
Liaising with engineers, project managers, and DNO representatives to ensure safe and efficient delivery
The Person

You will bring:

Valid ENW authorisation (essential)
Proven experience as an HV/LV Fitter on DNO networks
Knowledge of HV and LV plant, switchgear, and distribution systems
Strong commitment to safety procedures and compliance
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
