Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled)
 
The Job:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this hands on role Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer's role will involve the repair (preventative and emergency) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery.  Ideally, you'll be happy with a Night shift, but if you're only looking for Days, then please do talk to us as that maybe an option.  This is a dual site role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer in both North Devon and Cullompton and a pool car is provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure that the range of manufacturing machinery is running efficiently within the factory (machines include: - coil winding, handling systems, injection moulding machines, CNC mills, automated machinery, and various assembly devices used as part of the manufacturing process.)
Setting the machines using the company's internal program control system.
Assist with scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Assist with other mechanical / electrical and operational departments when required.
Liaise with production and quality inspectors to enhance productivity and conformity.
Assist with production of tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Electrical / mechanical engineering experience within an industrial or commercial environment.
Working knowledge of Electrical safety systems.
Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems through qualifications and/or experience.
Experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
Experience of producing tooling, jigs, and fixture   
Time served Apprenticeship, Electrical HNC or City & Guilds or equivalent
Trained in IEE Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition, C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing.
Training & in-depth knowledge in Electricity at Work Regulations
Familiar with PLC, SCADA and motor control systems would be preferable.
Plastic over Molding experience preferred.
Great communication skills as you will need to communicate with people at all levels.Benefits:
